How do I complete a client’s profile?
Open the client, then use its tabs to add directors, contacts, bank accounts and auditors. Use the Edit button to change the client’s own details.
Who can do this: Admin, Partner, Company SecretaryLast checked: 20-10-2026
Open the client
Click Clients in the left menu, then click the client’s name. The tabs are Overview, Directors/KMP & Signatories, Contacts and Bank Accounts & Auditors, followed by Documents and the other tabs.
Change the client’s own details
- Click Edit at the top right of the client page.
- Change the details you need, such as CIN, PAN, GSTIN or the registered office address.
- Click Save Changes.
What you will seeA green message says the client details were updated.
Add a director, KMP or signatory
- Open the Directors/KMP & Signatories tab.
- Click + Add Director / KMP / Signatory.
- Type the Name. This is the only required field.
- Fill in the Designation, DIN and other details you have.
- Tick Authorized signatory if this person signs filings for the company.
- Click Add Director / KMP.
Good to knowIf the DIN already exists in DueFiler, the same person is used. Their details are shared across every company they serve.
Add a contact
A contact is someone at the company who is not a director, such as an accountant. Their name then shows on WhatsApp chats.
- Open the Contacts tab and click + Add Contact.
- Type the Name, choose the Role at the company and type the Mobile number.
- Click Save contact.
Add a bank account or an auditor
- Open the Bank Accounts & Auditors tab.
- For a bank account, click + Add Bank Account. Type the bank name, account number and IFSC code, then click Add Bank Account.
- For an auditor, click + Add Auditor. Choose the type, type the name and the date of appointment, then click Add Auditor.
Cannot see this on your screen?
- Your role must be one of these: Admin, Partner, Company Secretary. If it is not, ask your Admin to check your access.
- If your firm’s trial has ended, DueFiler is read-only. You can see everything, but you cannot add or change anything.
