What one missed date costs

Miss one date, and the meter starts running.

File AOC-4 or MGT-7 late and MCA adds ₹100 for every day of delay, with no upper limit. Miss both and it's ₹200 a day, for a single company.

As per the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014. Fees can change, so please confirm them on the MCA portal.

The fee is usually the smaller problem.

Late fees are easy to count. These three are harder to put a number on.

  • 01

    DIN deactivated

Miss a director’s DIR-3 KYC and their DIN is deactivated. Getting it back costs ₹5,000, plus a filing nobody planned for.

  • 02

A DSC that expires in filing week

Every form that token was meant to sign now waits for a new certificate to be issued.

  • 03

    Client trust

Your client pays the fee. What they remember is which firm was handling the filing.

Room to grow

Take on more clients. Keep every filing in order.

When filings live in diaries and Excel sheets, every new client adds risk faster than your team can absorb it. In DueFiler your team works the same way on the hundredth client as on the first, and partners review work instead of chasing it.

  • Say yes to new clients

A new client’s calendar is generated from your register of Acts and Rules, so onboarding never means re-typing a year of dates.

  • Train juniors faster

Templates carry your firm’s own checklists, so a new team member follows the same steps your seniors do.

  • Bill the work you’ve done

Fees on each task flow into GST invoices, so finished filings don’t sit unbilled for weeks.

Illustrative example. Fees and due dates vary by client.

Your year, already mapped

Your whole year of due dates, worked out for you.

DueFiler builds each client's calendar from your firm's own register of Acts and Rules, so nobody types due dates in by hand. You choose who owns each one, and one click turns it into a task.

What's inside

Made for the way a CS practice really works.

Most task tools have never heard of a DSC, a statutory register or place of supply. DueFiler is built around them, so it follows how your team already prepares, checks, signs and bills a filing.

DSC-aware tasks

No filing sits waiting on a dead DSC.

When a signatory’s DSC expires or goes missing, every open filing that needs it is marked Blocked, with the reason written on the task. Record the new certificate and those tasks pick up where they left off.

→ Nobody finds out on signing day.

Statutory registers

16 statutory registers, kept current

From the Register of Members (s.88) to beneficial interest (s.89). Import your existing Excel sheets, download in Word or Excel on request, and see which required fields are still blank.

→ Ready the day someone asks for them.

Documents from your data

Drafts that fill themselves in

Board resolutions and notices pick up company, director and auditor details from your client records. If a required detail is missing, DueFiler stops rather than produce a wrong draft.

→ No more wrong CIN in a resolution.

One inbox

Client emails and WhatsApps in one queue

Connect Gmail, Google Workspace or any IMAP mailbox, plus WhatsApp Business. Your team decides what each message is: a new task, part of an existing one, or nothing to act on.

→ Nothing gets lost in a junior’s phone.

Billing

Invoice the day the filing is done

Professional fees come across from each task, and GST is applied as CGST and SGST or IGST based on place of supply. Invoice numbers are given only on issue, per billing firm and financial year.

→ No re-typing, and no gaps in your series.

Reports

Your Monday review, already prepared

See what is overdue against the statutory date and against your own internal date, who is carrying too much, and export the task report to Excel.

→ Spot who needs help before a date slips.

Governance & data

Your signature carries your name. Your records should carry the proof.

A DSC signature is personal. If a filing is ever questioned, you should be able to show who prepared it, who checked it and when. DueFiler keeps that record for every task.

  • Isolated by design

Every firm gets its own separate database. Your clients' records are never stored alongside another practice's.

  • An audit trail no one can edit

Reassignments, approvals, status changes and uploads are logged with the person and the time. Entries cannot be changed or deleted.

  • Separation of duties

Who prepared a filing and who approved it are recorded separately, every time.

  • Built for Indian practice

Dates in DD-MM-YYYY, times in IST, GST invoicing, and client names in Hindi or Gujarati saved exactly as written.

  • Your data, always yours

Export registers, reports and task lists to Excel whenever you like. Nothing is locked in.

  • No client logins

Clients keep emailing and WhatsApping you as they do today. They never need an account.

Getting started

From the first call to your first filing.

Moving off Excel sounds like a project. It isn't. You don't migrate everything on day one; you start with a few clients and the filings due next.

  1. Step 1

    Book a walkthrough

Tell us a little about your practice. We reply within one working day and show DueFiler on filings you actually handle.

  2. Step 2

    We set up your firm

Your firm gets its own workspace and its own separate database, with your team, roles and billing firms in place.

  3. Step 3

    Add your clients

A client name is enough to start. Each client’s compliance calendar is generated from your register of Acts and Rules.

  4. Step 4

    Run your first filing

Assign it, work through the checklist and send it for approval. Everything is on record from the very first day.

Questions

Before you make the switch.

We run on Excel today. How disruptive is the move?

Less than you might expect. Start with a few clients; a name is all you need to add one, and the rest can be filled in as you go. Statutory registers can be imported from your existing Excel sheets, and we go through your setup with you on the walkthrough.

Is DueFiler built specifically for Company Secretaries?

Yes. It is built around the everyday work of a PCS firm: ROC and MCA filings, DSC and DIN custody, DIR-3 KYC, statutory registers and board paperwork. It is not a general project tool with a compliance label added on.

How are filing due dates worked out?

DueFiler generates a compliance calendar for each client and financial year from your firm's own register of Acts and Rules. Nobody types due dates in by hand, and every date stays linked to the rule it came from.

Can we manage corporate groups?

Yes. You record holding, subsidiary and associate relationships for each client. Tasks are still created for one company at a time, so each entity in a group has its own filings and its own history.

How does maker-checker sign-off work?

Each task has an assignee who prepares the work and an approver, named separately, who signs it off. If the approver sends it back, their comments go on the task and the assignee corrects it and sends it again.

Who can see fees and client information?

You decide. Roles and permissions are fully configurable, so a junior can work on their own tasks without ever seeing retainer amounts or how a client is classified.

Do our clients need to log in?

No. Your clients carry on writing to you by email and WhatsApp. Your team files each message against the right client or task.

What happens when an Act or Rule changes?

Changing the register never quietly rewrites a calendar you have already generated. When you are ready, regenerate that year's calendar to apply the change. Tasks you have already created stay exactly as they are.
