Statutory registers, maintained and exportable
DueFiler lets a Company Secretary firm maintain the statutory registers of each client company in one place: a cover page, an entry grid, a compliance summary and a full change history, with Word and Excel export and Excel import from your existing sheets.
Why firms use it
- 16 registers per company. Create the registers a company needs, plus your own custom register where the standard ones do not fit.
- Word and Excel out, Excel in. Generate the register as a Word document or Excel workbook, and import entries from a filled-in Excel template.
- A history of every change. Each register keeps an audit trail of who changed which entry and when.
- Reconciliation at a glance. Summary cards show the total entries and whether the register reconciles, and list the rows that need attention.
How it works
- Step 1: Open a client’s Statutory Registers tab. Choose the register you need from the catalog.
- Step 2: Add entries or import them. Type entries in the grid, or upload your existing Excel sheet.
- Step 3: Export when needed. Download the register as a Word document or an Excel workbook.
Common questions
Can we bring in our existing registers from Excel?
Yes. Download the Excel template for a register, fill it in from your existing sheet and import it. Each row is validated the same way as an entry typed by hand.
Which export formats are available?
Each register can be exported as a Word (.docx) document or an Excel (.xlsx) workbook, and all of a client’s registers can be exported together as one Excel workbook.
Is there a record of who changed a register?
Yes. Every change to an entry is recorded with the person and the time, and shown in the register’s audit trail.
